As the sun sets over the Plaistow, some of our amazing residents – the bats – are waking up and taking to the night skies.
Join renowned Sussex naturalist, author and guide, Michael Blencowe for a special evening event to learn all about our incredible bats.
The evening will start in Winterton Hall with a short, illustrated talk where we’ll discover more about these incredible animals and how they have adapted to live life after dark.
Then we’ll head out for a nocturnal walk armed with bat detectors, to look and listen for pipistrelles, Serotines, Noctules and other bat species.

The event is suitable for families. Please bring a torch.

As numbers are limited please register ahead of the event and there is a £5 fee per person tio be paid in advance.
