England Woodland Creation Offer- Forestry Commission

Trees and woodlands are an asset – economically, environmentally and socially. Both now, and for the future. Trees and woodlands provide a magnitude of benefits from flood and drought mitigation, a sink for carbon sequestration, increasing productivity in farming and provide a great place for people to access nature.

 Now is the ideal time to consider your tree and woodland options, with the most generous grant offer to date. Our flagship grant, the England Woodland Creation Offer, is available for woodlands as small as one hectare, with 0.1ha minimum block size and covers capital costs and maintenance payments as well as extra stackable payments for woods which deliver wider benefits to society and the environment. The grant is available for both private and public landowners. Please consider council owned land but also any private landowners who might be interested.
