COMMUNITY RESILIENCE The Parish Council are considering creating a ‘Community Resilience Plan’ to help if an emergency affects our community. We rely on the emergency services but situations such as widespread flooding, heavy snow, or severe storms may delay their arrival or disrupt essential services.
As part of this initiative, we hope to establish a team of local volunteers willing to assist during emergencies. We especially welcome those with equipment, vehicles, or specialist skills, but all offers of help are appreciated.
The plan also involves recruiting Community Liaison Volunteers responsible for specific areas, serving as a link between coordinators and residents. If you wish to volunteer, please email the Clerk for a response form. Clerk@plaistowandifold-pc.gov.uk
